As many of you know, Ryan and I are buying and renovating his grandparents house on Crystal Drive in Oakmont. Chuck and Helen Ehrlich raised their family of nine in this 3 bedroom/1 bath cape cod home. Chuck built this house 60 years ago for his wife and children and now Ryan and I feel so blessed to be able to turn this into our home for many years to come. We decided to start a blog where we can update our friends and family with pictures and stories of our renovation adventures. I wanted to give you all an idea of what the house looks like before we begin the renovation. Ryan's dad, Michael, has worked many hours on the architectural designs to give us the home of our dreams and we are SO GRATEFUL for all of his hard work. In the end, we plan to have a 5 bedroom/3 bath home with a 2 car attached garage. Therefore, as you can tell by these pictures, we have A LOT of work ahead of us!!
